Wire Bending Machine Operating Specs for Metal Wire Forming

A metal wire bending and forming machine shapes metal wire into formed products. Wire enters, and the bending head creates planar or three-dimensional wire products — or an angle bender folds the wire into flat or spatial steel-wire components of many shapes. Wire forming grew as a specialized branch from the spring industry. Strictly speaking, springs are also wire-formed products made on spring machines. 1. Match tooling to product wire diameter; after installation, use the handwheel to set grinding-wheel height, then lock and fix the position. 2. Set the exit guide-plate height slightly below the lower grinding-wheel plane. 3. Adjust turntable speed to wire thickness — slower for larger diameter, faster for smaller. 4. On first start-up, open the oil-fill port cover on the turntable adjustment servo motor to prevent oil leakage from air expansion.
